About Us
Real local. Real people. Real businesses that kandoo it.
Celebrating local life and the people who make it happen.
ikandoo is a local business and lifestyle platform that shines a light on South Lincs entrepreneurs, makers, and community heroes.
It’s where business meets real life — stories, inspiration, and local gems without the corporate waffle.
Hey, I’m Tracey — and ikandoo is my love letter to local business and community life here in South Lincs.
After years of writing stories for The Voice and championing small businesses across the area, I realised something: there’s a hell of a lot of talent, creativity, and passion out there — but not nearly enough people shouting about it.
So I decided to create ikandoo — a platform that celebrates the people behind our local shops, services, and creative ventures. It’s all about shining a light on the humans who make this area such a brilliant place to live, work, and do business.
No corporate fluff. No PR jargon. Just real people, doing great things — and a space to tell their stories.
Whether it’s a cosy café with the best brownies in town, a start-up finding its feet, or a one-woman empire built from a kitchen table, ikandoo is here to help small businesses show up, stand out, and be seen.
Through our Business Focus Features, Lowdown articles, and our digital magazine, we’re all about sharing stories, building connections, and celebrating everything that makes South Lincs buzz.
We believe strong communities are built when people support each other. Alongside local businesses, we’re proud to spotlight charities and community groups doing meaningful work in our area whenever we can.
So whether you’re here to get your story featured, find local inspiration, or just see what’s going on nearby – welcome. You’re in the right place.
