After being made redundant from Sainsbury’s bakery, Tracy Goodliff decided it was time for a change.

Combining her love of animals with her desire to do something more meaningful, she launched Micropet Spalding, offering a range of mobile pet care services — from microchipping and nail clipping to dog walking, pet pop-ins, and Emmipet ultrasound teeth cleaning.

Tracy brings her passion for pets right to people’s doorsteps, helping local pet owners make sure their furry friends get the best care possible — all from the comfort of home.

“It’s so rewarding to help people keep their pets happy and healthy without the stress of travel or vet visits,” Tracy says. “And yes, I even learned how to clip my own Dalmatian’s nails along the way — no easy task!”

In just six months, Micropet Spalding has grown rapidly, and Tracy’s hard work has already paid off.

Her proudest moment so far? Being approached to buy the franchise business — and making it official just last week.
