The lives of the prim and proper children of Horace Green prep school are turned upside down when wannabe rocker Dewey Finn poses as a substitute teacher! Having been kicked out of his band and needing to find some money for rent urgently, Dewey thinks this will be an easy route to a quick buck. To his surprise, he finds a group of talented young musicians that may just mean he can go to the battle of the bands after all.
